Sudeshi’s Biography: Sudeshi joined the lab as a postdoctoral researcher in 2023. She obtained her PhD (in 2023) from Kent State University, Ohio with her thesis focused on investigating the roles of nucleotide modifications and their respective modification enzymes on bacterial ribosome assembly and eukaryotic epitranscriptomic regulation. She graduated (in 2016) from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka with a special degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She brings expertise in many biochemical and biophysical techniques that are used in studying RNA, protein, and RNA-protein interactions. Currently, she is involved in several group projects carried out in the lab with her main focus on studying EV-A71 3Cpro-RNA interactions and how it affects the structure and dynamics of the protein.
